Inlet Guide Vane Assemblies

Enhance Your Compressor Efficiency and Reliability While Increasing Your Energy Savings

Why Install Air Relief Inlet Guide Vane
  • Tighter, more exacting control
  • Competitively priced
  • Thin line style (2” wide instead of 12” to 24” wide)
  • Pre-swirl to the inlet flow reduces horsepower and increases energy savings
  • Save even more energy with Load Sharing and IGV’s
  • Gear-driven instead of linkage-drive for a smoother control and lowered maintenance
  • Internals are factory-lubed and sealed to prevent entry of debris
  • Stainless steel vanes virtually eliminate corrosion
  • Return on investment can be less than 1 year, based on energy savings

TurboLogix Controls Retrofits

The Turbologix OEM Retrofit is designed to provide a "plug and play" replacement for the recently obsolete OEM controllers. Click here for TurboLogix Website.

TLX Retrofits

For customers that have compressors with existing custom embedded OEM control systems a TLX Retrofit Kit is an ideal upgrade to your existing or obsolete OEM control system.  A TurboLogix retrofit kit enables the customer to reuse instrumentation and upgrade the compressor controls without disturbing devices in the existing control panel.  The TurboLogix retrofit kit includes Air Relief’s advanced TurboLogix control software and an Allen-Bradley PLC combined with an impressive 10.5” color touchscreen operator interface.  The kit includes all hardware, cables, transducers and instruments to perform a complete on-site upgrade.

Overhauls

By performing an overhaul on your centrifugal air compressor now, you can dramatically reduce the chances of a more costly overhaul later....

Catastrophic failures are almost always a result of a rotating impeller coming into violent contact with a stationary diffuser or inlet.  This type of failure can result in extensive gearing damage and also create a domino effect of damage for the unit’s internal components.  The cost of performing a preventative overhaul is comparable to the cost of gear replacement alone, if a catastrophic failure occurs.

Basic Workscope:

• Clean, test and inspect air coolers for each stage
• Clean and balance rotor assemblies for each stage
• Clean and inspect diffusers for each stage
• Clean and inspect moisture separators for each stage
• Bullgear shaft seal
• Bullgear bearing set
• Thrust bearings for each stage
• Plain bearings for each stage
• Air and oil seals for each stage
• Gasket kit
• 1 year warranty

Remanufactured Centrifugal Air Compressors / Airends

Remanufacturing is not just simply ‘fixing’ or ‘repairing’.  Remanufacturing requires that the product be indistinguishable from the new product in performance (capacity and efficiency).

Provide us with the required flow (cfm), discharge pressure (psig), elevation,  inlet and water temperatures. Then our engineers aerodynamically design a customized fit for your application. When the compressor design is completed a competitively priced quote will be sent to you.

• One full year same-as-new warranty
• All sizes and models available
• Delivery in as little as 4 weeks.
• Flow ranges from 1200 ICFM to 15000 ICFM
• Pressure ranges from 10 PSIG to 350 PSIG

Rotor Assemblies

• Balanced to a G1 specification
• Repeatability checks to insure compliance with ISO 2.5
• Close clearance polygon fit to reduce imbalance
• Impellers are machined from a solid billet of 17.4 stainless alloy, then machined to       rigid quality standards. Highly superior to the cast impellers offered by our                         competition.

Stainless Steel Sleeving

Sleeving deteriorated cooler and diffuser bores is a final, permanent solution to the chronic problem of erosion, scaling, and rust in the critical locations.  Stainless steel sleeving will last the lifetime of your compressor.

If the condition of a cooler bore, cooler barrel, or diffuser bore is deteriorating, it may be recommended that it be sleeved. Sleeving is the process of removing existing, deteriorated material in a casing or barrel with a machining process and replacing it with a high quality stainless steel sleeve.

When you have eroded cast iron bores, the sediment and build-up will fill any voids in the bore, in effect, "welding" the cooler in place. A large percentage of the time, during disassembly,  this results in an unsalvageable air cooler that could otherwise be cleaned and reused. With sleeved bores, the sediment has less chance to build up on a non-corrosive, smooth surface, simplifying cooler removal.

After the sleeving process is complete, any deteriorated sealing surfaces for orings or gaskets are repaired and brought back to OEM specifications.
